The Trust's Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held virtually on Tuesday 12 July 2022.

A total of 50 people attended for a review of the year 2021/2022, which began with a reflection on the past 12 months from the Trust's CEO, Carolyn Regan, followed by a financial overview from Director of Business and Finance, Paul Stefanoski.

Attendees were then given an insight into community services from Director of Local Services, Dr Chris Hilton.

Dr Hilton invited Alexis Santiago, team manager of the Southall District Nursing Team, to explain the great work they're doing to support vulnerable people in the community.

This section included a clip from local GP, Dr Ajan Sivanesan, who praised the District Nursing Team and explained how the Trust works well together with local GP practices.

The audience was then shown a video from patient Mavis Smith, who is being supported by the district nursing team and shared a testimonial of the positive experience of community nursing services.

The chair of the meeting, Tom Hayhoe, then invited several service users to share their experiences of being supported by the Trust's forensic teams. The meeting heard from a patient at Three Bridges medium secure unit, a former patient from the Orchard women's medium secure unit, and written testimonials from patients at Broadmoor Hospital, the Trust's high secure unit in Berkshire. A mother of a patient at Broadmoor who is a member of the hospital's carers' council also gave her reflection about how patients are supported by staff at the facility.

Mr Hayhoe then opened the floor up for questions from attendees, which included questions about Trust staffing and job retention, as well as working conditions, shift patterns and our SCFT services.
