We know that getting and keeping the right kind of job can be an important part of recovery for the people who access the Trust's mental health services.
We offer employment support for mental health recovery, including up to five sessions for employed clients seeking job retention or new roles. We support clients of mental health integrated teams (MINT) and early intervention psychosis (EIP).
We provide service users with individual placement and support (IPS), an evidence-based model that supports them into paid employment.
The IPS service is a team of employment specialists with experience working with people who have had mental health issues. The service helps people who feel ready to search for, apply for, and take up paid work as part of their journey to recovery.
Stable employment is a major factor in maintaining good mental health and is an important outcome for recovery for people with a mental health problem. We’ll work with you on a one-to-one basis, focusing on your CV and how to write a cover letter, job search, and interview skills to help you find a job and continue your journey to wellness.
