Volunteers' Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering and is a time to say thanks.

It goes without saying that volunteers have played a key role in the pandemic response. During an exceptionally difficult couple of years, people from all walks of life around the UK have taken the time to volunteer and make a huge difference to their communities – just as they do every year. This is a time for us to come together and thank all volunteers for their invaluable contribution.

At West London NHS Trust we will be celebrating the incredible service of our many volunteers throughout the week. We are also launching our ‘Volunteer Service Support’ function across our Trust, which aims to get more volunteers involved in more services.

Carolyn Regan, Chief Executive at West London NHS Trust praises our volunteers:
"Thank you for the contributions you make as a West London NHS Trust volunteer and everything we do together for outstanding patient care. We want to recognise you during Volunteers’ Week. You are all from the local community and provide an important link to the Trust."

Rashpal Saini, Volunteer Services Manager at West London NHS Trust:
"I have the pleasure of leading West London NHS Trust’s volunteering department since the last year and in that time, I’ve found that every single volunteer brings an amazing level of passion, dedication and skill. That’s what makes the Trust so special and means we are right there together for outstanding patient care."
