Congratulations are in order after a number of West London NHS Trust staff have been shortlisted for the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ London Division Awards.
Well done to Dr Amrit Sachar, Dr Evan Picton-Jones and Dr Nick Hipkins, who have been shortlisted for Psychiatrist of the Year, SAS Doctor of the Year and Educator of the Year respectively.
Meanwhile, Josephine Fielding, one of the Trust’s trainees has been shortlisted for Higher Trainee of the Year, and the North London Forensic Collaborative Patient Council, of which some of our patients contribute to, has been shortlisted for Team of the Year!
Dr Suhana Ahmed, Clinical Director of Older People’s Mental Health Services, and Chair of RPsych London Division said: “A massive thank you to those of you who were nominated and a big congratulations to those who have been shortlisted."
It’s amazing to see such representation from the Trust this year and very well done to those who didn’t make the shortlist but were nominated!
The Awards Ceremony will take place at the College, 21 Prescot Street, London, E1 8BB on Wednesday 28 June from 6.10pm to 8pm with registration and welcome drinks from 5.45pm.
The event will include a small drinks reception with nibbles, to allow members to celebrate the occasion and network with colleagues.
