Since 2017, the Trust has celebrated staff with 25 years of service. Following a recent staff survey, the Trust updated its policy to reflect, and recognise, staff whose service span 10 to 35 years. Writing to over 1,000 of our colleagues celebrating a range of anniversaries, our Trust provided them with a range of recognition rewards including thank you cards and gift vouchers.

Last week, we held two events to recognise and thank our staff for their lengthy service and for all they have contributed to our Trust.  The first event saw some colleagues joining virtually, and some socially distanced, in-person. Over lunch, staff were presented with a certificate, a commemorative engraved glass and a gift voucher.

For the second event, we held an afternoon cream tea for staff celebrating between 15-19 years of service. This virtual event was hosted by Leeanne McGee (Director of Forensic and High Secure Services) and Dr Chris Hilton, Director of Specialist & Local Services. Whilst enjoying their afternoon cream tea hamper (sent in advance to their homes or places of work), staff took part in a quiz and we showcased our ‘Wall of Fame’ to thank them all.

Leeanne McGee, Director of Forensic and High Secure Services: "Thank you to all of our long serving staff. We hope that colleagues feel recognised and appreciated by the Trust Long Service Recognition Scheme which we’ve been able to implement from this year moving forwards."
