Linkedin MMHAW.jpgJoin us as we mark Maternal Mental Awareness Health Week (MMHAW), with a series of events, hosted by our Perinatal Mental Health and Maternity Trauma & Loss Care services.

MMHAW is a national week-long campaign dedicated to talking about mental health problems before, during and after pregnancy.  MMHAW will take place from Monday 5 to Sunday 11 May 2025, with World Maternal Mental Health Day on Wednesday 7 May.

The theme for this year is 'Your voice, your strength'.

Here are the events we will be hosting for the week.

Perinatal /CAMHS community event at Southall Gurdwara -  Tuesday 6 May, 10 to 4.30am

Visit our information stall at Southall Gurdwara, where we will be raising awareness of maternal mental health, with Punjabi and English speaking staff and volunteers, providing information on how to access the following services:

  • Perinatal Mental Health
  • Maternity Trauma and Loss
  • Maternity Listening Service
  • MIND Perinatal Partners
  • NHS Talking Therapies

Information stalls across North West London – Tuesday 6 May

Visit one of our pop-up information stalls at maternity units across North West London, Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 May. We’ll be hosting these with our partners CNWL and Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust.

Moms tea groups – Tuesday 6 May

Moms are invited to join us for tea and chat, from 10 to 11am at Sri Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Guru Nanak Road Southall, and later from 2 to 4pm at Park Avenue Gurdwara. 

Our annual Parkrun event is back!  - Saturday 10 May, 8.45am

Join us on Saturday 10 May, at 8.45am, at Osterley House, Osterley Park, Jersey Road, Isleworth, TW7 4RD, as we make our way through Osterley Park’s scenic paths, in support of Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week. Open to anyone who is able to run or walk 5k.
