This week, Ealing Community Partners' Learning Disabilities service is celebrating Learning Disabilities week. The theme for this year is “Art and Creativity”.
People with learning disabilities often report feeling lonely and isolated from others and this has been made worse by the Covid-19 pandemic. Getting creative is a great way to improve mental health and bring new opportunities to make friends and lead greater community inclusion for everyone.
In response to this and to mark the week, the Ealing Community Partners Community Team for people with Learning Disabilities is asking patients, colleagues and partners to get involved in its Community Patchwork Project.
The Team will be making a collaborative patchwork made up of people’s contributions.
