Ealing Community Partners (ECP) celebrates its second anniversary today (1 July).

Second anniversaries are traditionally symbolised by cotton so as a gesture of thanks to mark the occasion an ECP cotton bag will be going out to all staff. The bag is designed by Sarah McSherry, an art therapist who works in the Ealing Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities and has previously showcased her art at the ECP Virtual Art Club.

ECP is a group of NHS, Ealing Council and voluntary organisations working together to deliver community health and care services for the people of Ealing. The partnership is led by West London NHS Trust.

The creation of ECP brought together more than 800 staff and has delivered over 200,000 episodes of care since its inception in July 2019.

Carolyn Regan, Chief Executive of West London NHS Trust, said:

“Happy birthday and well done to all colleagues working as part of Ealing Community Partners. This collaborative working demonstrated across different organisations and sectors shows how this model is a successful template for delivering high quality community health services for our local population.”

Dr Christopher Hilton, Clinical Director for Ealing Community Partners said:

“Happy anniversary to all of my ECP colleagues across our different partner organisations. What a year we’ve all just been through! Our biggest achievement has undoubtedly been keeping services open to support our patients through the pandemic. A huge thank you to everyone for their hard work in delivering care in such difficult circumstances”.

Graeme Caul, Managing Director of Goodall Division at Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust said:

“Cotton is natural and there’s nothing synthetic about this service! Partners from health, social care and the voluntary sector came together to provide services in a better way and it’s been a success. My thanks go to all the staff today for their excellent work that’s making a difference. Happy Birthday!”
