Chair Tom Hayhoe and Chief Executive Carolyn Regan have expressed their sadness on the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

"We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. We offer our sincerest condolences to the Royal Family at this time. The death of our longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, marks the end of an extraordinary reign that spanned 70 years. The Trust has received Royal support over a number of years with Princess Eugenie visiting Askew Ward in Hammersmith & Fulham most recently in 2021.

"We will be forever grateful for Her Majesty's dedication to serving the public of the UK and the Commonwealth, and for her recognition of the workforce.

"Honouring her memory will continue to inspire us all, and we will join with colleagues, friends and family over the coming days to pay tribute to her immense contribution to our society and community."
