A mass vaccination centre in Ealing has opened as part of the fight against Covid-19.

Staff from West London NHS Trust will be vaccinating local people in priority groups, along with health and care staff. This is the tenth mass vaccination centre to open in London.

The vaccination team at the large-scale site in CP House on Uxbridge Road, Ealing will be offering thousands of vaccinations a week.

People in priority groups 1-4 who live within a 45 minute travel radius of the vaccination centre will receive an invite letter and can book in either by phone or online through the national booking system.

Stephanie Bridger, Director of Nursing & Patient Experience at West London NHS Trust, said:

“Our teams are based and work in the local community, caring for people across West London every day, so we’re really proud to be here as part of the fight against Covid-19.

“Our team has worked round the clock to make sure the centre is ready to start vaccinating local people in priority groups, as well as health and social care staff.”

Councillor Julian Bell, leader of Ealing Council said:

“I welcome the opening of this centre in Ealing. I urge all residents to accept the vaccine when their time comes to be invited and I am certainly looking forward to my turn.

“Vaccination is the only way out of this pandemic and I thank all those who have worked so hard to get this centre up and running.”

Osnat Golan, Spaceworks Properties Director said:

“The CP House team is humbled to be able to support the NHS during its ongoing efforts to save lives and to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.”
