Please find a list of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests below relating to sleep disorders and insomnia:

In the last 12 months, how many unique patients have been treated for Insomnia (ICD-10 code G47.0) with the following products:

1) Zopiclone

2) Zolpidem

2. The total number of drug prescriptions issued for the following sleep disorders in the past five years (broken down by year and by drug type, for example, Melatonin, Benzodiazepines, Z-drugs)

Response: It is not possible to provide the number of patients for each hypnotic because, for most wards, it is supplied as stock.

Stock supply does not necessarily mean patient administration.

3. The total number of patients referred to non-drug treatments, such as CBT-I

Response: This information is not recorded on our Electronic Prescribing Record (EPR) system.
