Hello,

I'm Helen Lycett, the Associate Director for Allied Health Professions (AHPs) and it's my pleasure to introduce you to the AHP community of the Trust.

Here at West London we have 8 of the 14 AHPs represented, and they work in all settings and with all age groups. The AHP family is a vibrant, active, and growing community of people; from newly qualified practitioners to highly skilled clinical specialists to senior professional leaders – and everything in between! This makes the Trust the perfect place to grow your career as it gives you access to a broad range of expertise and a diverse range of opportunities.

The Trust has a proud history of supporting staff to develop with a broad range of learning and development opportunities. We were the first Trust in London to have an occupational therapy apprentice and we have always sought to ensure that we are at the forefront of creating new career development pathways.

We have also made a commitment to promoting diversity and increasing representation across all our professions and particularly within our most senior roles. So, you can be assured that whoever you are, there is a career path for you should you choose to join the Trust.

I am delighted that you are taking the time to explore the Trust and I look forward to welcoming you into the organisation soon.

- Helen Lycett, Associate Director for Allied Health Professions
