Help in a mental health crisis or emergency

Our patient and carer Helpline, also known as the Single Point of Access, is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

You can call this number to get help or advice in a crisis from our trained mental health advisors and clinicians, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Crisis response teams will also provide out of hours care and respond rapidly to your needs and provide the right care for you in an emergency.
GPs and other professionals can also call this number to make referrals and seek advice.
Calls will be charged at the same rate as geographic numbers (landlines starting with 01 or 02).


Non-emergencies during the day
(Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm)

If you already use services at our trust, make contact as soon as you can.
During the day, you can call your named care co-ordinator or the member of staff you normally see.
You can also call our helpline (sometimes called a single point of access, or SPA) 24 hours a day on 0300 1234 244.
If you do not receive any of our services, you should first speak to your GP (family doctor).
If you don’t have a GP, you can find one near you on NHS Choices.
