The Recovery College

Who we are

The Recovery College is a unique resource and training centre which provides tools and education to to support help in their personal recovery journeys or with supporting others.

What we do

We offer a training programme that draws on the experiences and skills of people who have used mental health services, and those who support them.
The college follows an educational model that seeks to give people the tools and skills to become architects of their own recovery or to support someone else with their journey.

What we offer

We offer a wide range of courses including teaching a better understanding of mental health issues and developing and building life skills. Courses vary from one off workshops to those that run for a number of weeks.

Courses are ‘co produced’ and ‘co delivered’. This means that groups of service users, carers and staff work to develop courses. They are delivered by a member of West London NHS Trust staff and at least one peer trainer, recognising the expertise of lived experience equally with that derived from professional training.

The college is based in Brentford but we also run courses Hammersmith & Fulham.
