CLASP, a suicide prevention charity, is organising a 10 mile ‘walk out of the darkness’ on Saturday 11 October in aid of suicide prevention.
Loads of people have already signed up for the walk and the trust is delighted to be taking part in this awareness event. Dr Christopher Hilton, consultant liaison psychiatrist, will be speaking prior to the walking event about suicide.
The 10 mile walk will be along the Thames path and Riverside walk in central London. Crossing the Millennium bridge, along the Embankment to the House of Commons, then Millbank to Albert bridge into Battersea park for refreshments and then back to the start along Riverside walk.
