Trust's AGM 2019: summary

25 Jul 2019

Our AGM took place on Wednesday (24 July) at Hounslow Arts Centre, with dozens of staff, service users, carers and the general public in attendance, willing to learn more about the Trust’s activities.

The evening started with networking. A total of 13 stalls were dotted around the venue, showcasing some of the services we provided, as well as external partners such as Marie Curie (with Ealing Community Partners), WeCoproduce and Prostate Cancer UK. People also had the opportunity to see images of the new Broadmoor Hospital building, learn more about our IAPT services, the Recovery College, One You Ealing and more.

The main part of the event saw Chair, Tom Hayhoe; Chief Executive, Carolyn Regan; Executive Director of Business and Finance, Paul Stefanoski; Executive Director of Local Services, Sarah Rushton; and Clinical Director of Community and Recovery, Dr Julia Renton all deliver updates on the Trust’s successes and challenges over the past 12 months and also discussed initiatives to look forward to in the next year.

There was also time at the end for the public to ask questions which covered a range of topics including; carers rights at Broadmoor Hospital, readmissions to secure units, and mental health facilities for current staff members. Thank you to our panel who helped answer these questions; Dr Julia Renton, Tom Hayhoe, Paul Stefanoski, carer Ann Smith, Clinical Director of Integrated Care, Dr Chris Hilton and Clinical Director of CAMHS, Dr Johan Redelinghuys.
