Passionate voices at trust AGM

26 Sep 2013

This year’s annual general meeting was a huge success, with inspiring stories, music and passionate voices from the audience.

The event, held at Lampton Park Conference Centre in Hounslow attracted around 100 people to find out about the trust’s plans for mental healthcare in west London.

Attendees were also able to explore a vibrant ‘health market place’ with stalls from groups such as occupational therapy, stop smoking services, Ealing Carers Centre, The Recovery Hub and many more.

The main AGM included music from an ex-service user and an inspiring account from our service user co-chair, Vanessa. Poet David Neita recited a special poem in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Broadmoor Hospital.

The audience listened to presentations about transforming local services, recovery and co-production and the recent review of involvement, as well as a review of the past year and look ahead to 2013/14.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event, especially those who took part.
