NHS cyber attack

15 May 2017

There is no evidence that our trust’s computer systems have been infected by the global cyber-attack which hit a number of NHS and other organisations last Friday, spreading a serious computer virus.

We did close down our computer networks on Friday afternoon as a precautionary measure and we have been making some additional safety improvements to our computers and infrastructure since then.

We brought our systems back online over the weekend and can confirm everything is working correctly, however this may mean the computer systems used across our services are working more slowly than normal.

GP referrers and patients and carers should note that appointments will continue to run as normal.

Due to a Virgin Media fault, staff working out of Brentford Lodge have lost access to emails and telephones. Services affected are:- Hounslow Primary Care Mental Health Service, Alliance CAMHS, Recovery College, Well-Network and part of Hounslow IAPT
