18 May 2020
The theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week (18-24 May) is kindness – particularly relevant during a time of considerable anxiety and stress for our staff, their families, patients and their carers as the Covid-19 situation continues to have a major aspect on almost every aspect of our lives.
We’re supporting/celebrating this theme over the week, with great features such as:
- Tips on being kind to yourself and others
- A focus on how a good night’s sleep can impact your emotions
- Sharing ‘random acts of kindness’ from the local community
Throughout the week, we’ve been asking you to send us words and phrases to describe ‘kindness’. Thank you for all your comments. Your answers are presented as a word cloud which you are able to see below.
In the meantime, please follow us on social media throughout the week and get engaged.
