Living My Life – a celebration of the trans community

31 Oct 2012

A photographic exhibition celebrating the lives of trans people is being hosted at the Trust’s Gender Identity Clinic in Hammersmith.

A trans person is someone who feels that their gender identity does not correspond to the one they were given at birth.

Linda Stradins, Service Manager at the Gender Identity Clinic, successfully bid for the exhibition and told us, “We were really excited when we heard we were going to host Living My Life. The photos of people from the trans community are very positive and inspiring and have created a real talking point for those who attend the clinic.”

You can download a copy of the Living My Life brochure which accompanies the exhibition.

Living My Life was created to positively reflect the lives of trans people by the Centre for HIV and Sexual Health, TransBareAll and Diva Creative with support from the Department of Health’s Pacesetters programme.

The clinic is currently looking into buying some of the photos for the clinic.
