IAPT's shining moments

17 May 2019

Since the previous Mental Health Awareness Week, in May 2018, it has been all hard work and deserved recognition for our Hammersmith and Fulham IAPT team, known as ‘Back on Track’.

Over the past 12 months, the team has been recognised in a number of ways for the fantastic work they do, positively impacting their service users.

But what have been Back on Track’s highlights over the last year?

Their key activities surrounded their tenth birthday. They celebrated this back in February, with special guest Andy Slaughter, MP for Hammersmith, in attendance.

Ten years was a special anniversary for Back on Track, and they ensured their IAPT counterparts based in Hounslow and Ealing, had a slice of the celebrations too. In doing so, in September they hosted a tri-borough Bake Off at the Irish Cultural Centre in Hammersmith, and a month later took part in a tri-borough run.

The celebrations kept going, as highlighted below:

  • Saeed Khalilirad represented London in the Excellence in Mental Health Care, as part of the NHS70 Parliamentary Awards
  • Back on Track admin team won ‘Team of the Month’ for March 2019
  • The team saw two of their members shortlisted for Quality Awards, an annual event where the Trusts recognises staffing excellence. From the IAPT team, Rebecca McMillin (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner) was nominated for ‘Innovation’ while Dr Hannah Rogers (Senior Clinical Psychologist) was up for the ‘Leadership’ award
