West London NHS Trust – leading a new partnership under the name of Ealing Community Partners – has today signed the contract with Ealing Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to provide community health and social care services in Ealing over the next 10 years.
From June 2019, Ealing Community Partners will provide a range of services for adults, children and young people across the borough, including learning disability support, district nursing, and care services to support people to receive treatment at or closer to home.
On signing the contract, Carolyn Regan, Chief Executive of West London NHS Trust, said:
“We can now press on with getting everything ready for when we take on these services in June.
“Our overriding priority from day one is to make sure that patients, service users and carers see no difference to the care and support they receive. Patients will see the same doctors, nurses and other health and care professionals, and will continue to receive care in the same places as now.
“We’re also listening to the local community, seeking their views and working with them to shape our plans to ensure that services meet their needs.
“Poor physical and mental health is linked. Today’s contract means that in the future, we’ll be able to assess and treat people’s physical and mental health needs to provide the very best quality care to the people of Ealing.”
