We are looking for research volunteers who are currently being seen by a clinical service in West London Mental Health NHS Trust about a diagnosed or potential personality disorder.
You would attend two to three half-day appointments at our research centre at University College London.
This research involves filling out questionnaires, taking part in simple psychological tests and one-to-one interviews with a researcher.
In addition, you will be asked to play some computer games, either on a laptop or whilst having a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) brain scan. This involves lying still in the scanner while we take pictures of your brain.
Why take part?
By taking part you will have made a valuable contribution to research that aims to explore personality disorder and inform future therapeutic interventions.
You will be compensated with £10 per hour, additional performance-based pay, and your travel costs will be reimbursed.
Interested in taking part or finding out more?
Let your clinician know that you are interested in hearing more from someone in the research team. If you do decide to take part, it will be on a voluntary basis and you will be free to withdraw at any time. Alternatively please feel free to contact Chloe Finamore on the contact details below:
