Applications are now open to be a volunteer at West London Mental Health NHS Trust.
Being a volunteer at our trust is different for everyone. We place volunteers where there is a need, and try to match your unique abilities and insights to one of our inpatient or community services. Past volunteers have been involved in:
- Visiting people on a ward.
- Working with older people.
- Supporting community activities.
- Supporting group activities.
We ask that you join our team for a minimum of nine months, and can spare at least half a day per week.
We run a fairly structured volunteer programme, which is designed to give you all the information and support you need. This means that you will need to complete a three day induction training course.
If you are interested, visit our volunteering page today.
Applications close on 31 January 2014.
Please note that we do not place volunteers in psychology or psychotherapy roles and do not facilitate work placements or shadowing.
