Nutrition and Dietetics - adults and children

We provide specialist nutrition advice, education and support based on the latest scientific evidence, to help you improve your health or manage a medical condition.



About the service


Our dietitians and support team assess and treat children and adults who are registered with an Ealing GP. All our Dietitians are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Conditions we care for 


  • We offer individual appointments for a range of conditions including:
    • Obesity
    • Underweight, or unintentional weight loss or malnutrition
    • High risk of heart disease
    • Certain vitamin and mineral deficiencies
    • Diagnosed food allergies such as Coeliac Disease
  • Members of our team also work embedded in the Diabetes Service, including providing the Right Start Diabetes Education Service
  • Our enteral feeding team provides advice, support and oral nutritional supplements, tube feeds and equipment
  • For housebound or immobile patients we will come to your home or  care home and for children we will go into special schools and nurseries



Where we provide your care


We hold clinics in health centres and in some GP surgeries in Ealing Borough, in Southall, Hanwell, Ealing, Acton, Northolt and Greenford.


Referrals


Any health professional can refer you if you fit the referral criteria. Please contact your GP in the first instance.
