Professor Sally Glen

Sally was appointed to the Board in July 2014.

Sally is an academic and has extensive experience of strategic leadership as a Deputy Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean in a range of universities. She has published widely in the field of healthcare professional education and continues to supervise mid-career nurses and allied health professionals undertaking health related PhDs. Sally is a registered adult and children’s nurse and is a registrant panel member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s “Fitness to Practise” Panels.

Sally is a Trustee of a charity supporting service users with mental health and learning disability challenges and a Samaritan Leader and Listener. She is a member of North West London’s Clinical Academic Excellence Awards Sub-Committee and also a member of a local authority Children’s Safeguarding Board.  In addition, she is Vice Chair of Governors of an inner London Community Primary School.

Sally is the Trust’s “Speak Up Guardian”.  She also chairs the Trust’s Workforce Committee and Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberties Committee.  She receives £6,157 per year for her work at the Trust.
