West London Mental Health NHS Trust will provide staff and volunteers at Brentford FC Community Sports Trust (FC CST) with bespoke mental health training in preparation for their delivery of a health and wellbeing programme for the Trust’s service users. The Trust is to give staff and volunteers at Brentford FC CST an introduction to mental health and guidance on how to work with people experiencing a mental illness, including information on medication and interventions.
Responding to the CQC’s state of care in mental health services 2014 to 2017 report, a spokesperson for West London Mental Health NHS Trust said:
“Although we were disappointed not to have improved our overall rating at our re-inspection, we were hugely encouraged that the CQC recognised a whole range of improvements including much improved incident reporting culture, positive medicines management and significantly reduced restrictive practices.
