Since April 2017, NHS Improvement has required all NHS trusts to self-certify compliance against a number of specific statements. Foundation Trusts (FT) have always been required to do this. The self-certification statements are, in essence, FT Licence requirements.
The Trust Board has determined that sufficient assurance has been provided by the executive during 2016/17 to enable the Trust to confirm that the statements are an accurate reflection of the Trust’s position.
A copy of the Trust’s submission in relation to Condition G6 is available below. This requires NHS Trusts to have processes and systems that identify risks to compliance, and to take reasonable mitigating actions to prevent those risks and a failure to comply from occurring.
If you have any questions about the Trust’s self-certification process, please contact the Trust Board Secretary at Secretariat.
