The Workforce Race Equality Standard ( WRES) has 9 elements, 4 relate to equality indicators found within the NHS Staff Survey, and the other 5 indicators relate to workforce indicators. Each year, all NHS Trusts are required to report on their performance in closing the gap in experience between white and BME members of staff, on each of these indicators. Trusts are benchmarked against each other and good practice is shared. Our performance for 2017-2018 is shown within the Workforce Race Equality Standard document, the action taken to close gaps is outlined within the WRES Action Plan 2018-2019.
