The Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES) was implemented in April 2018.
It required NHS Trusts to measure themselves against a set of workforce and staff experience indicators, which compared the experiences of staff that live with a disability to those that do not.
Each Trust is then required to publish their results on an annual basis, in a bid to work towards reducing differences in experiences, so that organisations become more inclusive.
The table shown compares our results with other London Trusts. Although we are doing well comparatively, we are taking action to improve the experience of our staff and have a set of actions that we are taking forward.
